Maybe they trick themselves into believing they are nice, when really they are mean.
Maybe they deceive themselves into thinking they are good looking, when they are extremely unattractive.
Do you agree that people practice self-deception? What kinds of things do people deceive themselves about?
Make a list of things people deceive themselves about with a brief explanation for each.
